How many appointments will I need?

Naturopathy is not a quick fix, we are healing the cause of health imbalance and this takes time.  I recommend my clients work with me for at least 3 months so you can experience the best outcomes.  During this time you will usually require approximately 4 appointments to complete your treatment plan.

What qualifications does the naturopath have?

Our Naturopath Jodi Campbell holds an Advanced Diploma in Naturopathy, from the Australian Institute of Applied Science and a Bachelor of Nursing from Latrobe University, she qualified for Honours and is a member of the National Golden Key Honours Society. 

Are there payment plans available?

Yes, flexible payment plans are available conditions apply please speak directly with us for further information.

Can a Naturopath do meal plans?

Yes, a Naturopath can do meal plans to meet your nutritional needs and wellness goals.   I also provide meals plans as apart of treatment plans for my clients.

What does a naturopath do?

As a naturopath I work with you to identify the underlying cause of your health problem, to do this I use range of assessments and tests, then together we will identify your treatment goals and create a treatment plan that you will be able to incorporate easily into your everyday life.  I use a range of natural treatments including herbs, nutrition, supplements, and lifestyle options to help you create lasting change in your health wellbeing.

Can a naturopath help with nutrition?

Yes, a I completed nutrition training in my naturopathy training.  I also use food as the first medicine and as a naturopath I have a large focus on food and nutrition.

Is there any disadvantage to having an online consultation?

There are always positives and negatives to anything.  However there are no significant disadvantages to having a naturopathy consultation online.  I can complete you assessment fully online, if I have any concerns that require physical assessment, I will refer you to the appropriate practitioner for physical assessment.  You will be suprised how easy and convenient online consultations are.  You can now have a consultation in your lunch break at work, after work in the car or in the evening.  The flexibility it provides for busy working people is amazing, with out the need to spend lengthy periods of time waiting in crowded waiting rooms and travelling to and from practitioners.

What can you prescribe?

I  can prescribe dried and liquid herbal preperations and nutritional products.  I can only prescribe to clients who have had a consultation and I the products I prescribe are usually practitioner only products, these are higher quality products that can not be sold without a health practitioner advise.

Can you prescribe outside of a consultation?

No, I can not prescribe outside of a consultation.  Please do not call and ask me to do this it is unprofessional and against would risk my right membship with my association.  This is for your own personal safety and wellbeing, this is why I take it so seriously.

If I have an online consultation, how do I get my tests?

I use an online registered pathology service who integrate other mainstream pathology collection companies.  I will link you directly with the pathology service you they send you the pathology invoice and when payment is main your pathology request is available for download.  Your test kit is sent to your or you take your request slip to your local collection centre it is that easy.  You will be notified when your results are available and also your practitioner.

What tests can you order?

I can order a range of blood, urine, saliva, hair and feacal tests.  Tests are ordered only according to what may be required to obtain information to be able to fully understand your health and wellness problem and create an individualised effective treatment plan.

What types of health conditions do naturopaths treat?

As a naturopath I treat a variety of health conditions and health problems.  However, I have a special interest area of stress and relationship between hormones and weight gain. So I really enjoy helping you get your hormones sorted, lose weight and understand how stress impacts your health and wellness.  For the women I work with this is life changing as they often for the first time begin to understand the need to connection between their emotions and how this impacts the hormone balance in their body.  Creating balance from within addressing the emotional, physical, psycho-social and environmental needs the body is able to find balance and true healing can begin. 

What if I am currently taking medications my doctor has prescribed?

That is fine, there is no need to be concerned.  I will check for any interection if I need to prescribe any herbs or supplements for you.  If there are more complex concerns I also have access to techinical experts who can assist me with also to extensive checks for drug interactions.  As I qualified naturopath & nurse I take these situations extremely seriously.  You may also benefit greatly from seeing me if you are taking medications, as many medications cause the depletion of important nutrients within your body.  These may even be causing your health problem, we can consider correcting any deficiencies that have been caused by medications in your treatment plan.

How do I book an appointment?

Can I change my appointment or cancel if things change?

Yes, you can reschedule or cancel anytime by going into the email link upto 24 hours prior to your appointment. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice you will be charged a $50 late cancellation fee depending on the circumstances, this may be deducted if you rebook within 7 Days.

If I live local can I visit your clinic?

Yes, just let us know when booking your appointment.  We love to have clients come into clinic also. 

Can I contact my naturopath outside of my appointment if I have questions about my treatment plan?

Yes, Jodi is always happy to accept emails and texts outside of clinic appointments.  However please remember that there may be a delay in reply dependant on many factors, messages can on occassions get missed, Jodi has clinic commitement and family life commitement, she will always try to respond when ever possible.  The only time you can have guaranteed access to the naturopath is during a clinic appointment.
